About

The distinctive focus of the Co-producing campaign is on directly engaging consumers in the making and distribution of hybrid products. The creative and cultural industries provide a natural departure point as they are relatively advanced in their thinking about co-production and offer a relatively safe and accessible testbed for engaging consumers in creative explorations. We will work with key partners from broadcasting, film, tourism and heritage, advertising and user experience design to deliver a high profile campaign.

Projects under this campaign will explore novel ways in which consumers might co-create, from directly producing content (e.g. broadcasting festivals) to indirectly shaping products through their personal data (e.g. using physiological interfaces to interact with films).

Our approach will involve rapid co-design and release of prototypes in the wild, collaborating with creative and cultural partners to tour them to cinemas, festivals, galleries and museums.
